Michael W. Smith
Michael W. Smith
is a fitness coach & entrepreneur dedicated to improving the lives of others. Michael is the go-to person for exciting boot camp programs and is your head boot camp coach!  He earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Health from Montclair State University in Upper Montclair, NJ. Michael is a NESTA Certified Adventure Boot Camp Instructor and is certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He is also a Lifestyle Nutrition Coach, as well as a Strength and Conditioning Coach. Michael is certified in the areas of Health and Physical Education and has his Master's degree (M.S.) in Sport & Exercise Psychology!

Fitness and sports is a way of life for Michael and it quickly became his passion at a young age. From as early as age 13 he began his fitness journey and continues to educate himself in all areas of health and fitness. He excelled in sports growing up and achieved All-State Baseball honors as a high school standout. All his life, Michael has been fascinated with fitness and human potential. His passion for fitness and helping others has led to a successful career as a personal trainer, motivator, author and coach.

Michael’s love of helping others and commitment to health and wellness continues to be his focus. He is an energetic and motivating instructor who strives to utilize his experience in fitness and weight loss to provide others with the tools they need to reach their own fitness goals!

Michael’s experience, knowledge, and ability to make fitness fun while getting results has led him to great success in helping hundreds of people lose weight and feel better. He places a huge emphasis on understanding your individual goals and needs, and then creates a personal prescription for your success.

Laura Powell
Laura is a Certified Personal Trainer through the International Sports Medicine Association (ISMA/AAAI), and a certified Assistant Adventure Boot Camp Instructor through NESTA. She has also completed an Elite mentorship program with Athlete's Performance and holds a certification through the Power Plate Academy. Laura has a B.A. in Public Health from Rutgers University and specializes in fat loss and nutrition specifically for women.

 

Laura has a passion for helping women with total mind and body transformations, while increasing energy levels and overall vitality and quality of life. Fun and Fitness are two concepts that Laura bridges together and believes should be part of every exercise regimen!

Laura knew she had a love for fitness and exercise early on. She was a competitive figure skater as a child and continued through the end of high school. Laura began running and exercising at age 16 and has competed in numerous runs in New Jersey and New York. She is an avid runner and an elite member of New York Road Runners (NYRR). Her focus has been on designing exercise programs and fat loss plans for women since 2004.

The go-to trainer and coach for women, Laura is here to provide you with the know-how, knowledge, workouts, and inspiration that you want.
